Got a strange one here. We have a network setup at home, consists of a Macbook running Leopard and a two Windows boxes, one running XP and one running Vista.
Now, here's where it gets strange. My Vista box can pick up the XP machine on the network, but not the Macbook. The Vista box can read and write files to the XP machine.
The XP machine can pick up the Vista box, but not the Macbook. The XP machine can read and write files to the Vista machine.
The Macbook can pick up both the XP and Vista machines on the network. However, it can only connect to the XP machine. It can read files from the XP machine, but can't write files to the XP machine. It gives a "no write privelages" error message when I try.
I'm no networking wizard, so I'm totally stumped at this situation I have going on here. Anyone any ideas why the Macbook can't write files to the XP machine? Or why the Macbook can see the Vista machine, but not connect to it?
Appreciate any help.
Cheers.
