OS X on a PC?

So my old PC just died on me and I will probably have to reinstall Windows on it... BUT I was wondering with XP going on the intel macs, would the universal OS X somehow go on a PC now?

I hunted around and didn't find anything on this, but it would be cool to assimilate that old machine into a more perfect one.

did you try searching the forum? as this has been covered hundreds of times before.

You can do it, but it involves a lot of hacking, and is infact illegal

Not to mention that the results are, by most accounts, rubbish. As in drivers etc, and the OS slowing down.
