OS X - OS 9 USB printer sharing

Is there any way to share a printer on an OS 9 networked computer via USB printer sharing from an OS 10 machine?
I have tried to do this with no luck.

Maybe it will only work if the OS X computer has classic running and printer sharing is enabled in the control panel.

Have a look at the Apple discussion boards though.
