hi
the potential that Apple bring to the users throught each iteration of mac os x is welcome. however, i suspect that optimization is not longer the Apple deal and if options to turn off or adjust certain aspects related to the decorative nature built in the OS aren't given then all applications will suffer a penalty on performance.
As an example, adobe production suite runs better in windows than os x in the same machine, flash player included.
Whats your opinion?
Should Apple continue to release new animations of 5 icons drooling and calling it names like stacks
or
optimize and release some control options to increase performance/productivity?
