OS X Server at home?

Hello,

Long time Mac OS user (since System 5 actually), but I've never explored the Server side of our OS.

Are there any benefits to using it in a regular home environment? Setting up a home server just for 2 users? Can you use OS X server in a server-terminal set-up?
