Just curious of the proper "legal use" of a OS X single user retail disk. Can install multiple copies of 10.6 on more than 1 hard drive that is intended for the same computer. i know i can but im meaning ethically if i can.

My guess, if it will only be used on Computer A and never Computer B or C then your good.

Now there's an interesting question. I believe the answer is yes, if all installations are on the same Apple hardware - but I am not 100% sure about this.

From Apple:

A. This License allows you to install and use one copy of the Apple Software on a single Apple-labeled computer at a time.
