After a good few hours of using my laptop, my fonts get really thin (literally) and look different than they did at the beginning of the day. Never heard of such a thing, right?

In System Preferences, under the Appearance pane, I believe there's a way to change font-smoothing. I forget what the correct setting is, as it looks to have been changed in Snow Leopard, but tinkering with the settings in there should be able to fix your problems. I think you have to log out and then log back in to see the changes, however.

Thanks for the help. I actually just saw your post. I figured this out a few weeks ago. Thanks. This fixed it.
