OS X Tiger Compatible?

I recently got a set of OS X 10.4.2 discs cheap, but will they work on my PowerMac because they are for a powerpc Mac Mini?

If they are gray discs then they are machine specific.
You need the black retail versions.

You have to find a Mac mini and then update it beyond the minimum requirements for the Power Mac. After that you'd make a disk image and use it to image the Power Mac.
