Hi. Running 10.4.6 here and about to update to 10.4.10 on a 1GHz G4.

I received this machine with a clean install of 10.4.6 and removed many of the standard (osx) applications including iCal, iChat, iSync, Mail and Address Book, and maybe one or two more. Just wondering what will happen when I install the 10.4.10 update on my machine... Will it cause any problems?, install a whole bunch of information/files that I won't need?, realise that the apps have been removed and notify me/ask me what to do? WILL the update package re-install the missing apps that it is trying to update??

Anyone else in the know? I'd like to do the update tonight and not be too concerned.

The worst that'll happen is it'll put some of the apps back on your system. I'm 99% sure this won't happen for the apps you've listed as they're not included in the combo update in their entirety, generally. :)
