Hey People,

I have a 24" iMac, on which I am trying to make a nice triple boot thingy.. :)

Vista and XP run from two seperate partitions. XP partition made originally with Boot Camp. The partition for Vista was made with iPartition booted off a CD. And I use rEFIt as the boot menu.

XP was installed first. Then I made the Vista partition, and installed Vista on that. All went well. When I choose to boot Windows off rEFIt, I am presented with Windows' own text (yawn..) boot menu, where I can choose between XP or Vista. They both work. Sort of...

It seems to be a "one at a time" deal.. After I installed Vista, I tried to boot XP. This halted at a black screen. Tried 3 times. But if I then choose the Partition menu-item i rEFIt (one of the lower smaller icons), it fixes something with the partitions. After this, XP boots fine and dandy. But if I after this try to boot Vista, it gives me an error at beginning of boot. Then I boot off the Vista CD, and do a repair of Vista. After that Vista boots fine, but XP will not work again, unless I fix partitions with rEFIt.

Furthermore, when XP works, rEFIt says it can boot Windows off Partition 3. When fixed for Vista, it says Partition 4 instead. This leads me to believe that both Windows systems should have their own Boot icon in the "root" of rEFIt. But I have no idea how to do this. Or maybe the Vista partition needs to be some kind of "hybrid" MBR/GPT partition for it to show in rEFIt? If so, how do I do THAT?

Sorry for the long post. Can anyone help me out on this one?
