Edit: Nevermind I got it fixed.

Hi, my computer won't boot into OS X, I get the grey apple boot screen, then after awhile it will fade to blue as if everything is working normally, then it goes right back to the boot screen, but the status indicator is frozen. I don't know for sure, but I think the computer isn't frozen, I just think the display is frozen because if I press a button on the keyboard I get the "blip" sound.

How can I fix this? I tried booting from the Leopard upgrade DVD but it just hangs, it sits there and does nothing. Is there any way to repair Leopard? Or do I have to reinstall it? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
