Hi,
I was trying to make my bootcamp patition larger last night but it didnt work. Today, mac os x wont boot. it gets past the apple logo and onto the blue screen, it says starting os x, but then just gets stuck on the blue screen. the mouse is still active. Any ideas? Just to say, i can see all the mac's files from another computer over the network.

First I'd try a OS X Safe Mode Boot and then run Repair Disk and Repair Disk Permissions using Disk Utility.

Failing that try then run Repair Disk and Repair Disk Permissions using Disk Utility when booting off your OS X installer DVD.

command+option+p+r at chime during startup. I have this problem occassionally after using windows and then rebooting back into OS X. Clearing the PRAM usually works like a charm.
