Can anyone tell me if it is possible to run classic 9 with OS4 on an imac

It is possible to run Classic on an iMac G3, G4 or G5 running OS X 10.4. It is not possible on an iMac Core Duo.

The iMac G3s and G4s can also boot into OS 9.

maybe someone will comeout with a program to emulate os 9 on intel macs?

i dont know if its possible but i guess it could happen

Already has. Sheepshaver, a PowerPC Mac emulator, will run MacOS 8.6 or MacOS 9.0.4, and has been ported to the Intel-Mac platform.

No networking support and no printing yet, but you can run your Classic apps. (At early G3 speeds, since you're emulating a processor you ain't got — same as running VirtualPC on a PowerPC Mac)
