OS9: Listen to MP3s inline in browser

I have a client who's running OS9 and had us develop a Web site for him that features MP3 clips of his music embedded on pages.

Works fine under Windows, works fine under OS X. But for our client, nothing. Our Windows-centric code guys are using an Active-X OLE Object to play MP3s on a click.

Being a "switcher" of 2002, I know de nada about OS9. Can anyone suggest an appropriate plugin or piece of software that will allow him to view/listen to MP3 files on the Web page?

What about Flash? You could create a little mp3 player in Flash and use ActionScript to control the volume, etc.
