I am looking for Mac software that would accept sounds via microphone (e.g. a note played on the piano) and would:
1. Display an amplitude (energy) vs. time graph.
2. Produce a frequency spectrum analysis for the sound
3. Display an amplitude vs. time graph for each individual partial in the spectrum
I have tried the open source AudioXplorer, but have not found the results satisfactory (perhaps because I have been using the iMac internal mic instead of an external one).
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
