Anyone know of a computer-based oscilloscope compatible with mac? there are many for windows but haven't found a decent one that works on a mac.

Have you tried circuit gear at http://www.syscompdesign.com./circuitgear.htm ?
I don't know if it is good or not, but I was planning on purchasing one myself.
If you ever try it, please let me know what you think of it.

The current (july 200) syscompdesign scope has quite limited (2Mhz) bandwith. You can use a Voltcraft (Hantek) scope together with the HantekDSO software. See http://1m93.blogspot.com/2009/07/digital-storage-scope-on-imac.html This works on an Intel iMac.

Bump!

Anyone knows where i can get the OSX compiled package for Hantek DSO?

Greetings

I've looked and haven't found anything.

I have an old DSO-2100 from Link Instruments with a parallel port interface. I keep an old Dell Windows 98 laptop around solely for that purpose.

The DSO products out there have moved to USB so they could write OSX software if they wanted to, apparently they don't want to. So, I just keep my old one...

I have just bought an Hantek DSO 2090 with USB and its working with VMWare, but i am searching for a native solution like HantekDSO or OpenHantek that runs directly under OSX.

I am not sure if its possible to compile these apps for osx, and i am not that much into that, so i am searching for a precompiled package.

Greetings
