OSX 10.5.1 Hangs

When I tried installing the 10.5.1 update it will reboot, say configuring file and will just hand there, with about 1/16" of the bar blue. Also no disk activity, and I let it sit for a few hours and nothing....any idea's?

I will try re downloading the update tonight, thats the only thing I can think of....my dialup is kind of flaky and my imovie update failed in the middle of the night....gotta love the 40mb downloads at 3k a sec.

The same thing is happening on my Macbook when I try to update to 10.5.1. Did you ever solve the problem?

Try downloading the full size version from Apple's website and running it from the finder. I had to do this on both of my intels.

I also had to download the full installer. A redownload may have worked but I just D/L the installer from the apple site with cable broadband and burnt to a cd. Works great!
