Osx 10.9.1

I just got my first mac and I have a little question.
I installed Adobe Illustrator CS6 and when I want to start Illustrator I got this pop up; install. Java SE6. Can I install Java SE 6? Or would that be a problem.
I read so messages on internet that the standard Mac software would be defect.
Could somebody please help me what to do and where can I download Java SE6

I have java installed on my system because I do have some java apps. You should be fine with this.

Visit java.com and you will be able to download the installer for OSX.
