Good Afternoon all,

I am trying to deploy an OSx 15 in Virtualbuddy for software development purposes. However when I download OSx15 from the Virtualbuddy interface, I get an error that a software update is required. It then tells me that no software update is available.

This is where I am currently stuck, I saw a previous thread about downloading xcode 16 beta but I would prefer not to have to create another account just to roll out an OSx 15 VM if at all possible. Does anyone have any advice for me?

Thanks,

I just started it and got that:

Installation of 15.4 RC seems to work. But I would wait if it's not the first one.

Are you already on that version?

For me the one Linux they offer on a "list" never worked.

I can tell you if it's already RC2 when finished.

If you even need the latest version.

Virtualbuddy tells me I am up to date on version 1.7, do I need to download the latest Virtualbuddy?

I do not, I would prefer not to have to open yet another account to acquire the software, but if I must then I will do it.

They show it here too. On what version are you and what are you trying to install?

I just installed and replaced my original 1.7 Virtualbuddy with 2.0-210 beta. I get the same error.

I am trying to install any version of 15 and up. So far I can only install 14 and below.

I installed 15.4 RC without any problem in Virtual Buddy. But it was RC1. And I have installed also that tool and Xcode Beta that includes it.

You just need an Apple ID to login, agree to the TOS and you are in the Developer Portal. No new account needed.

Scroll down to the bottom after skipping the customization and you will find everything there:

I dont believe I have an Apple ID.

Their harvesting of the phone number is annoying because this is an enterprise device and should not be tied to anyones personal phone number.

I have set up the account and will try to follow the steps outlined.

This was the trick I was missing. OSx15 is installing, we will see if it was successful in a few minutes but now that its actually installing I have high hopes. Thank you so much for your assistance!
