Hi guys. I bought an external BD player 'cause I'm a freakin' geek and I wanted the Star Wars saga in Blu-Ray... I saw online that there was already an OSX app to read BD (http://www.macblurayplayer.com/), but it happens this app isn't very reliable... some of the discs in the box play, while with others the app crashes.

Now, if I bootcamp windows 7 and get the latest version of Power DVD or something like that, I should be able to play BD normally, right?

You could try the OSX version of ‘MakeMKV' to rip your BluRay discs to mkv. Various Mac users have reported good results with this.

I've read about that, but I want to enjoy my discs entirely, with menus and all that... Besides, it takes too long to rip BD. The time it takes to rip one is the time I need to get a bootcamp windows up and running. :)

By the way, would it be possible to run Power DVD through Parallels?
