I have a late 2013 Retina Macbook Pro

Since this afternoon my OSX started freezing either during login or within 30seconds to 1 minute after login completes. The computer runs fine in Safe Mode though.

I have tried:
- Hardware Diagnostic which shows no fault to the hardware
- Resetting SMC
- Resetting PRAM
- DiskRepair in Recovery mode which shows no errors
- Reinstalling OSX to the newest version 10.13.2
- Checking and removing Login items

Anyone has any ideas/suggestion. Please and thanks

Safe mode stops all launch items, so if it works fine in safe mode that is a big clue you have a wonky launch item.

Try also looking in these folders for launch items.

Code:
~/Library/LaunchAgents (~ is your users folder)
/Library/LaunchAgents
/Library/LaunchDaemons
/Library/StartupItems
/System/Library/Extensions/

So update. After trying literally everything I could find on the Internet, I tried turning of my FireVault (which took the computer the whole night to decrypt the whole hard drive) and then everything worked this morning!
