OSX indexing and DFS samba windows network shares

Hello,

How are you enabling indexing for network shares?

even if I run the command: mdutil -as -i on //Volumes/<sharename>

index will still show as disabled.

Also, this is a DFS share, has anyone gotten indexing to work in this environment?

you have typo issue. instead of double, use a single slash:

sudo mdutil /Volumes/shareName -i on
