Hi every1!

So my friend bought a new macbook and he also bought a new bigger hard drive to go with it. So we installed the hard drive and found that the internet recovery was the way to go, for us to reinstal lion on a new drive.

But this is where our problem began. As soon as internet recovery started it was just showing the spinning globe. There wasnt any prosentage below the globe as i think there should. Its been stuck there for about an hour and a half and we decided to unplug the cable to check if it shows any erros. But it didnt.

The cable works fine (tested). So can a recovery take so long? Without even beginning to show the prosentage bar?

Is there any other way we can legally reinstall lion on a new drive?

Thank you!

Yes i can. But i had problems cloning the drive since you cant change the master partition on osx.
Also i would like osx to be cleanly instaled.
