Hi all,
I have been researching this problem for days. During the bootcamp procedure to install Windows, I realized that I could not use my Windows XP disk on my Mac Pro running Lion. I needed Win 7. I already had chosen a partition size of 100 GB (500 GB Drive) and left the computer on for a few days. I then shut down the computer due to bad weather in the area. Now OSX does not boot. I phoned Apple Support and performed "First Aid" -> "repair disk" and there were a few errors found and fixed. The volume reports it is OK, but it does not mount. Has anybody been through this problem?
Is the solution simply to recover the backup GPT?
Thanks,
