Hi
I have upgraded my iMac to OSX El Capitan and also applied the latest patch 10.11.1
I have a Duet 2 with Apogee Maestro configured to be used for sound out/in on my iMac which has worked great for the 2 years I have had my iMac...so a fairly new iMac with latest OSX..

However after upgarding to OSX El Capitan I have started to get a very snappy sound in my speakes followed by the swimmingball for a few seconds...this occurs every now and then and If Im on the computer for 3 hours it will occur somewhat 10 times or so-so very annoying...

The sound is like when you have an old tube amplifier to a guitar or similar and just pull the plug out...very sharp sound...

Now I always have Safari running when I have my iMac going...
So I guess this can be either in OSX or in Safari or the Duet 2...
However I suspected the Duet2 first so I upgraded all its firmware and software to it but no improvement..and it always worked as a charm before so...and the new upgraded software for it is aimed to El Capitan..

Has anyone else have this problem??
Any ideas if I can do something by myself to solve it?? If so what?
best regards Micael
