So I shot some Live Photos today for the first time. When I got home, I let Photos import them and sync to my iPhone 6s: the process destroyed the Live Photos, separating them into stills and videos.

I'm not quite sure what I expected to happen, but what should I have done instead?

I don't believe Photos on Yosemite (OS X 10.10) knows about Live Photos. El Capitan (OS X 10.11) comes out tomorrow and its Photos does have support for them. (And maybe Photos on Yosemite will get an update, too?)
