OSX reformat

if i want to reinstall osx, but still keep all my apps (i.e. photoshop, ilife, my home folder) in place... what kind of install should i do? given a tiger cd?

"Archive & Install" - make sure you select the "preserve network setting" thingy (not the full title but you'll see what I mean).
