I called Apple today and they said that if I wanted to get replacement disks, it would be about $50.

Would it be possible to buy them off eBay for cheaper or are they assigned for only one computer?

The only reason I want these is to recover Photobooth and get xCode. Is this the only way to get these programs back?

Thanks : )

Maybe but it could be a crap shoot. How much are you saving by going to eBay?

Search MRoogle as this has been discussed many times before.

Mac OS X Install and Applications DVD's are specific to the computer itself, and cannot be used on any other one.

You can download any version of Xcode from the Apple Developer Center. You will have to sign up for a free developer account.

http://connect.apple.com/

Once signed up and logged in, click the Developer Tools link in the column of Download links at the right. Scroll through and pick the Xcode version you want. You can go all the way back to Xcode 1.0 at the bottom of the page.
