Anyone have a home network using OSX server (on a mini) where you also run Win7 under bootcamp? Will Win7 'see' the server for use as a file share?

I have an HP EX495 WHS and I'm less than thrilled with it's abilities to function with Macs running OSX or Win7 via bootcamp. I'm wondering if a mini running OSX server might be a better option.

If you enable Windows sharing, those things you share should be visible in the network neighborhood. Note that you can do this with regular OS X and don't necessarily need the server version.

I'm seriously considering throuwing ubuntu on my EX490 for similar reasons.

It does what I want it to do, but I'm having trouble with one drive and have no way to diagnose or repair the problem under Windows.
