Since I installed Sierra, i have had a recurring problem. I use a couple of user names to separate work and home on my laptop (since it rearranges desktop icons when I switch screens or connect to a video adapter). But when I switch users, most of the time it logs the old user out. It usually does not do it the first couple of times after a re-boot, but after that is pretty consistent (and a pain in the butt).
I have "Log out after ... minutes of activity" under "Firewall" turned off, and "fast user switching" turned on in "Login Options". As an aside, I also have "Require an administrator password to access system-wide preferences" unchecked, but it always asks for an admin password to unlock User Accounts and Security & Privacy. Any ideas?
