OSX Software Wanted..

I am looking for 2 OSX softwares.

1. Financial/business money management software. A good way to describe what i am looking for would be an offline version of www.mint.com and also capable of handling GBP. I would love to be able to manage all incoming and outgoing money as well as create receipts and invoices, keep up to date on tax and stuff like that.

2. Video creation software NOT iMovie, i want to be able to produce a video from scratch. An example of what i want to do would be the type of advertisements on TV that are showing off a new compilation album with flashy images, music, videos.

Any suggestions?

Btw, you may need additional software for "flashy" movies, as not everything can be done inside a video editing application like Final Cut Express/Pro, therefore you might need a compositing application like After Effects (30 day trial) or Motion (part of Final Cut Studio).

Do you have any experience with video editing outside of iMovie?

not much no - it is something i want to get into. I'm a designer so i do have a head start.
