I am having an issue trying to connect to shares hosted on a 2k box. I originally had 2k3 on it and decided to put 2k on. It is named EXACTLY the same as before and now I am having issues connecting to the shares.

Here is the tricky part: My PB is the only Mac that cannot connect. Everyother Mac on the house works perfect. The PB can even connect to another 2k server and mount the shares with no issues, it is only the server with the clean 2k install. I can ftp fine to it, just cannot mount smb.

Console gives me this:

mount_smbfs: session setup phase failed: syserr = Socket is not connected

mount_smbfs: could not login to server DELTA: syserr = Socket is not connected

I am also getting

mount_smbfs: could not login to server DELTA: syserr = Permission denied

but this happens even before I enter my password so I don't think that is the problem. And I know there is no issue with the password.

Might I have to trash a Pref file or some cache folders? I am not sure where to begin. I have tried all the normal stuff with no change.

Any ideas?
