OSX won't load after login

After I have installed parallels and updated win 7 my Mac book pro gets stock when the loading bar is half ways (after I have clicked on my username and entered password). I have tried to start in safe mode, by pressing shift at startup, but it doesn't start in safe mode. Do I need to reinstall the OS X or what can I do?

Can you boot into the recovery partition?

What version of parallels did you load, the latest? I assume you installed windows in the VM and not in boot camp correct.

Yes I can boot into recovery by pressing cmd r. And yes it's installed as a VM. I'am not shure wich version parallels is but its not the latest

Okay, I figured it out myself. It was nessecery to reinstall OSX and luckely this doesn't delete your personal files - I found out.
