Since the latest osx update (not the combo update), i have no sound anymore except for the first sound when i boot, i checked midi settings, reinstalled lion, did a disk check etc, ram resets all the usual.

I also have no flash content on any browser, i read something that the newest osx blocks older flash versions for security reasons. i updated flash like ten times now, nothing.

Since I'm working in video and sound, i cannot use the computer anymore. has anyone found a solution for this? or is someone at least experiencing the same behavior on their mac?

edit: i had kernel panics too every time i would boot. after the 4th lion installation it has gone now.

Does your edit mean it's fixed?

I've had to install OS X several times (not just Lion) before to get it working properly. Things can happen during OS installations. They don't always go according to plan.

no, it's just the kernel panics that are gone. still no sound whatsoever, and even less flash content.
