Hey all, I realize this is not specifically on topic. However, the Samsung QX series (unsurprisingly) uses a similar case/island-key design as the MacBook, so I figure it would be useful to ask my question here (since this forum is way better at good, timely answers than any Windows forum I've been on).
I like this computer, for what it is (I got it on sale, couldn't yet afford a MacBook), but the backlighting on the Mac is such a killer feature. I was thinking I might be able to open this up and install a backlight myself. I googled install keyboard backlight and got this site for an ASUS Eee PC:
http://www.popsci.com/diy/article/2008-05/eee-pc-school-add-keyboard-backlight-under-15
Obviously there are marked differences. Does anyone think this might be possible/advisable with the kind of case/keyboard? I'm fairly decent dealing with the insides of a computer, not expert, but I can do it without messing it up.
Thanks for any help
