Been trying OTA. Will download and "prepare" until the loading bar is 2-3mm of space away from being done, then I get a pop up saying there was an error downloading the update. Could this be an authorization issue? Deleting content to increase available space did nothing, quit all background apps, soft restart and hard restarts, nothing. Any ideas?

Server overload?

This is quite strange. It happens also to me. Tried 4 times. I have plenty of space onto my device.

Yeah I'm on attempt 15 or so since I'm at work with nothing better to do. Maybe a faster wifi network will do the trick when I leave.

I'm not sure is a network issue.

I just downloaded real fast Xcode 5 DP5 and the ios7 b5 ipsw from apple website.

I think it's time to do a fresh install. I hate to do this, but I can't see any other option to fix that error.

Backed up into iCloud and into iTunes, let's restore the device :(

Is there a non developer Beta 5 ipsw download anywhere?

Yep. Snagged a copy so maybe a fresh install will do the trick.
