I am VERY confused by the baseline OOTB broadband rubber band mumbo jumbo. I followed the definitive thread to get my DAY 1 iPhone updated and jailbroken to 1.1.3. What is the path I need to take for unlocking? The one via installer says (BL 4.6) only. I assume that I have 3.9 since I have a Day 1 iPhone. How do I unlock???

Thanks!

For those curious, I managed to use the iClarified source and anySIM 1.3 and it worked like a charm!

That thread actually doesn't help. I have an OTB 1.0.0 phone, as do a lot of people. What I did was I used the "definitive 1.1.3 update" thread but added my own little steps. Once I was updated to 1.1.3 and jailbroken, I needed to upgrade to the 1.1.3 baseband. There is a source from iClarified and utilized this tutorial

http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=635

Basically, I had a 1.1.3 jailbroken phone with bootloader 3.9. I used the baseband updater to bring the phone to 04.03.13_G and then ran anySIM.

I have full locateme working as well as all phone features.

Worked like a charm!

Excellent!

Sorry my suggestion was off the mark.
