A few years i read about alternatives for using icloud with windows. oher clients that are better but i don´t remember the names
 
Perhaps just web version works great on windows.
Oh, web version calendar app supports setting "repeat how many times" for an recurring event. This is not in iOS, not in Mac, and not in watchOS.
