I bought a Samsung Captivate, and while I LOVE Android, Samsung is a load of crap. Among the problems are: Sucky battery, Terrible GPS, SMS ordering, can't receive MMS from other networks, keeps bad time in the stop watch, screen flickers, horrible HORRIBLE antenna, among several other issues. I will probably keep a hold on this phone if these can be fixed, and if not, atleast until my 30 days are up.

So my question is, are there worse issues with this phone than an antenna spot?

The only major thing SOME people are complaining about is an issue with the proximity sensor (people's faces push buttons even though the screen is off), rear camera not working, and that it seems to scratch easy.

- proximity sensor doesn't keep screen off causing various call problems when your face muts or dials numbers during a call
- bluetooth reported to have poor sound quality on some headsets
- weak wifi signal capture as been reported
- loose home button
- reports of slient key on the top rattleing
