Was thinking to be a wiseguy and looked up the eventcalender of the Moscone center to retrieve any info. Good news is they do have some gaps in their september agenda. The bad news is....thats all I could retrieve.

Any of you have other suggestions.

Maybe a plan to call the Moscone and ask if you can rent the joint on the days which appearantly are empty. If they say No...you know enough.

I am not calling long distance, from Holland, if I do I have to eat crackers until releaseday.

Apple usually does smaller events either on campus or at the Yerba Buena Center for the arts instead of at Moscone..

i also checked yesterday the moscon center about the dates. But nothing !
i think that apple won't use the Moscon center for the event

Just to refresh... The Verizon iPhone announcement was not done in the Moscon Center. But I expect this big of a release to be done there

Apple would never have the event date on the Moscone site without them announcing it publicly. The first week of September up until this Thursday is empty on their site and a couple of weeks in October are not taken too.

Good point! mid-september and the entire last week are also empty. But like wwdc the need a couple of days to dress the building up with billboards and such right?

But what if in their waiting someone else took those dates? I think they book it ahead of time, but have an agreement to not put it on the calendar.
