Hi all,

I'm planning to purchase a harddisk based mp3 player, to be used with itunes (4). I know the obvious thing would be to get an Ipod, but would like to know if there are other players that are aslo supported by itunes/osx.

overhere (Netherlands) the Ipod are very expensive and I just can't justify the price:
10 gig 399 Euro ($478,-)
15 gig 499 Euro ($597,-)
30 gig 599 Euro ($717,-)
all prices tax included.
As you can see the prices are ridicoulously high, so I'd like to know other options.

Please do not start this into an Ipod is the best and the rest sucks kinda crap... Or that every other mp3 player is ugly or whatever. ( I personally do not really like the design of the New ipods that much, they are a bit to "girlish" for my tatse)

So what I basically would like to know if people have experiences with for example the Zen or whatever on their mac.
(I think the new Philips hdd100 mp3 player that will be released soon looks very interesting)
