I found out through experince & posting here that the current AC power cord that fits the 2010 i5 & i7 macbook pros will not provide enough power under a heavier load/power draw & will dip into the battery, this explained why the battery power would sometimes suddenly drop to like 10% even when I had the AC cord plugged while using a virtual machine photoshop etc.
are there any other power supplies that could be used with the macbook pros 85 watt one? so that the AC cord would be able to give full power without dipping into the battery?
