Does anyone know how to get back the storage which is now seen as other ?
Before this problem, I was running macOS BigSur, because I was hearing issues about the new OS, I tried to downgrade it back to macOS Catalina. However, I somehow installed it as a new volume (which called update at the time). I erased the update volume and set its name to Macintosh HD as APFS format. After I had installed the macOS Catalina. I noticed that it wasn't a downgrade, but it was a new OS installation on the other volume. I thought I lose all the data in my mac, so I tried to restart it back by using startup disk and reboot into the Macintosh HD that had BigSur on it. I finally got back my files. I opened up Disk Utility and started to erase the volume that had Catalina on it. After I erased it, I delete the volume hoping that it will be merged into the main disk. However, After I deleted the volume, I noticed that the "other" was taking 100Gb of my disk.
Please Help me if there is anything I can do to get back the storage.
