Other than the Adobe products - on the Mac -are there other products that can replace Aperture? I need Geo coding, Faces, App plug-in editing, smart folders, in product editing.

Other than the Adobe products - on the Mac -are there other products that can replace Aperture? I need Geo coding, Faces, App plug-in editing, smart folders, in product editing.

Why not just continue to use Aperture until this all shakes itself out? It will be fully functional for the rest of the Yosemite updates and possibly even for the next OS X version, so we are talking about a year or two before needing to change. During that time, Photos might get better, other photo apps might add DAM (like maybe Pixelmator), or others like LR or Capture One will continue to be there and possibly even improved.

Just a thought.
