Other than LTE are there other advantages to the cellular version? I can’t seem to find a non cellular version locally. I’m wondering if the extra cost is worth it.

I got the cellular version because its the only one they had in stock, plus gives me the option to activate it later should I choose to.
I have the LTE series 3, and honestly, I never go anywhere without my phone so I would've been fine with the GPS version. But that's just my use case, yours may be different.
For Series 3, there were differences. GPS had 8 GB of storage and composite back. The GPS+Cell had 16 GB of storage and ceramic back. For Series 4, it appears the only difference is the Cell option.
