A SMALL TOWN IN WISCONSIN
I recently purchased a Powermac G4 (gigabit ethernet dual 500). Now I'm in need to set it up to my wireless network. I know this topic has already been talked about, but I want to see what people say.

I heard someone say that you could hook a product like this to the mac

(its a wireless internet that hooks in to a ethernet port) I really don't want to pay the premium for the old airport card and want something a little faster (like G).

I would like it to be fairly simple to install, and not so expensive!

I will be running tiger~

It should be, and THAT IS G!

You could also buy a PCI wireless card and install it in the back of your PowerMac. I had one in my Quicksilver and it worked great. It was a PC one too, but the computer saw it as an airport card and it functioned just like one.

Don't remember the brand, but I'm sure some people on here can tell you ones that work.
