Otterbox Defender + Car Dock

I've been searching for days for a car dock/cradle for an iphone 4 in an Otterbox Defender case. So far all I have come up with are ones that it will fit in but doesn't charge, e.g. the Megellan, Slipgrip and some others.

I need one that will both hold the phone and charge it, with a defender case on it. I don't want to have to fiddle with plugging a charger into the phone and inserting it in a holder. I just want to drop it in the holder and go.

I think you will have a hard time on doing that while using the otterbox...

For what it's worth, I am using the Griffin WindowSeat AUX with the OtterBox Defender to mount my iPhone 4 in my 2006 Jeep Liberty.

It works perfectly. I took it off-road to test out the stability and it did not budge. The fit on the bottom corners is not perfect but it's secure and stable.

Had to make an addendum to this:



After just over a month of using this mount with the Defender the joint gave way and snapped.

I would not NOT recommend this as a viable solution!
