Otterbox defender iPhone 12 use iphone 11 screen protector ?

I couldn’t find anything searching and I did search. It’s been ages since I logged in here. I just got home with my shiny new blue iphone 12. I purchased a otterbox defender and two protectors from Walmart which did not fit and lifted off. My question is ive had iPhone 11 and spare protector which does fit. I’m assuming it’s because 11 had rounded edges so a gap was needed. Would using this on my 12 cause any issues ? Like damage to screen scratches etc ? May sound like dumb question I’m so used everything fitting right and all that I have read I dont really wanna go down road again of trying like a dozen brands of protectors again. Sorry if this was asked I did use search function couldn’t find Anything.

You shouldn’t cause scratching of any king using a different protector. You might find the fit might be a bit off. Did the 11 have a slight curve to its screen at the edges? I think the 12 is flat for sure.

Depending on the fit you may get lifting if it’s not quite right.

I bought spigen screen protector in a pack of two with plastic guides to fit it perfectly. Only £7 too. Bargain

Thanks I’m not sure if this multi quote thing worked I’m not used using form thing on my phone. I actually ended up returning my defender, I’m waiting on mous limitless 4.0 should be here weds. I wanted get into MagSafe and person told me defender worked with MagSafe but didn’t bother mention you needed more expensive defender like 70$? Not sure. Also I found out doesn’t work with my old wireless charger anyways. I got some cheap protectors on Amazon for time being I’ll deft looking into those spigen ones. Hoping mous limitless 4.0 is worth wait.
