Otterbox defender iphone 6 plus + tech armor

If you take off the screen protector for the defender case for the iphone 6 plus, will the Tech Armor Ballistic Glass Screen Protector work with this case?

I have a similar question as well. I have a tempered glass screen protector on. I've taken out the built in screen protector on my otterbox and I have put it on my phone but my question is, with continued use will the otterbox damage the screen protector where the hard plastic sits in it?

I have a defender with a tempered glass screen protector and no damage whatsoever. The fit is excellent and really helps to avoid the crappy screen that is included with the defender

I'm waiting for my defenders to arrive and I know people say there is a gap between the screen and the otter screen protector. What if you installed say a Zagg tempered or even an HDX and then put the defender with it's screen protector over that? would the thickness of the Zagg etc fill the gap ???
