I've never used this type of case on my own iPads or iPhones, I have a Vaja leather flip case in my 6+, which is fine for me since it lives in my handbag most of the time.

Bought a Defender for an SE (gift for a friend.) I actually had to go to YouTube to figure out how to get it apart and put it on.

Anyway, there is a rubber strip at the bottom, above the charging port that seems loose. Is it supposed to be like that, or did I miss something? The charging port cover is kind of a pain, also. I can see that eventually coming off. Doesn't seem to be any problem with the surface touch response, but it's a little difficult to use the keyboard at the bottom because of the high rim.

I wanted to get something not too costly, so he could use the phone right away. My head was spinning from researching different cases, so the price was right on this one. Figured I could take my time looking at others. Lifeproof Fre seemed like a good choice, except for the comments about the space between the screen and protector.

Getting a bit wordy here, but is the bottom of the Defender case supposed to be that loose?
